Very nice restaurant. Unfortunately we only ate there once and it was delicious. We picked up geese over Christmas. It is highly recommended.

Despite this year's Corona influence, the restaurant was run excellently and our Martinsgansessen was again a great experience.

Picked up a St. Martin's goose menu today and loved it! Quickly prepared at home, the goose is crunchy and tender, the wine is a poem, the red cabbage is simply delicious - don't miss it! Thanks to the Genusswerkstatt for my great birthday menu during this time👍👍

We stopped by spontaneously, were welcomed nicely and were assigned a seat. The shop itself is a bit busy and noisy and unfortunately we were sitting in the middle of it. The service was very friendly and in a good mood despite the full house. The menu promises German classics with no frills and the prices are surprisingly normal for a restaurant with a gourmet reputation. We had the mushroom mauve, the beef bourgignon and the roast goose and the whole table was really enthusiastic about its food. I've never had a goose that was so juicy and at the same time so crispy on the skin. The sauce seemed too salty to me at first, but when paired with meat and potato dumplings, it made perfect sense. The red cabbage was also very good, not too sweet and still with a bite. Surprisingly down-to-earth, delicious cuisine at reasonable prices and nice service - what more could you want?

Very stylish and cozy restaurant with the opportunity to watch the chefs at work. The food tasted very good and the service staff was friendly and attentive. Gladly again. 👍👏

We came here for lunch on the spur of the moment. A comfortable place was quickly found on the spacious terrace. Our waitress was very polite and in a good mood. The food was very tasty and visually lovingly arranged. Price performance is right. We will be back...

You could think back to the roots or everything at the beginning when you reach the small restaurant of Schumann's, hidden in the village of Pulsnitz. No, it doesn't shine in this glamorous shine like the balcony of Dresden once did, rather it has more of the charm of a down-to-earth inn. Nobody expects dishes of the most excessive creativity here, but honest, passionate cuisine. You can feel and taste very clearly that the pressure and uncertainty has left the shoulders of the Schumann family. Everything in Pulsnitz exudes serenity and being at home. Furnishing and decorating was done here with great attention to detail. There is also a lot of personal information to be found and so the guest doesn't feel like a guest here, but rather as a friend who can be a guest. A look into the open kitchen reveals the busy bustle, which is directed by Armin Schumann personally, no, much more directed. Here the boss still cooks himself and I'm sure the taste of my childhood, as Armin Schumann calls his biography, with all the recipes from Grandmother Hermione, can be found here again. Each of the dishes tasted excellent to us and we were very pleased that they deliberately avoided unnecessary chichi. Selected ingredients dominate, which have been perfectly crafted. No dominant spices but balanced, garnished with flowers and herbs, each of the dishes is presented. Only the service is not quite sure whether it should act in a new guise, technically perfect, or at least country-style. But this is only a small point, which I am very sure of will still come into play over time. All in all, a visit full of hospitality and enjoyment, which was definitely worth the longer journey 👍 Dear kitchen, your crème brûlée was awesome, even if this one, a few chopped pistachios would have been better than these rice pops 😉

The ambience is nice. The card is appealing and there is something for everyone. Extra requests were not a problem either. Especially the desserts were awesome. The staff was very friendly. My two dogs were also allowed. The journey was really a disaster. Everything is blocked, diversions, etc. The restaurant can't do anything for that, so I didn't subtract a star. We will definitely come back here again. 😉

Overall a nice atmosphere and nice staff. The food was also very tasty and the meat was on point. However, there are also some negative points: the room is very warm and very noisy when fully occupied, the price-performance ratio is slightly above that expected and small animals were to be found in the garden vegetables. On the whole, however, recommendable, the Corona guidelines are also handled very well here.

What a great place. Yesterday by chance been here and were very pleased. Here the boss sits at the table and discusses the day with the employees. Small but fine menu, very nice atmosphere, relaxed location. Thursday and Friday is barbecue time and the grill is already an eye-opening. If you want to eat high quality food is well advised.

We recommend! We were on Christmas Day 1 and "the hut was buzzing". :) And the staff was friendly, nimble and attentive. The food is unusual creations of typical German dishes and regional specialties - very tastefully arranged and extremely delicious. I highly recommend the green kernel soup and the carp (which didn't taste a bit muddy). The drinks were also great - there is such a special gusset beer and good juices. In addition, it is comfortably furnished, you sit well. So: the half hour drive from Dresden to Pulsnitz is worth it.
